Israeli Air Strikes Hit UN Schools, Indonesian Hospital, and Residential Areas Across Gaza

AsarNews, Gaza - Israel launched a brutal assault on the Gaza Strip ahead of the ceasefire, claiming the lives and causing injuries to dozens.

Dozens of Palestinians were killed, and hundreds were injured as Israeli forces escalated their attacks in Gaza just before the ceasefire, which came into effect on Friday morning.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported on Thursday 27 casualties from the attack on the Abu Hussein School. Managed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the school in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza housed many Palestinian refugees.

Israeli forces also carried out a fresh attack on the Indonesian Hospital, targeting its main entrance and power generator.

Ashraf al-Qudra, the ministry spokesperson, stated that the hospital experienced "intense bombing," and "most of the building" was targeted.

Over 200 patients, medical staff, and refugees are currently inside the hospital in Beit Lahiya, which has been under siege for a week.

The death toll of Palestinians due to Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has surged to 14,854, according to the government media office in the besieged enclave on Thursday.

Approximately 7,000 people are still missing, including over 4,700 children, according to the media office.
