ASARNews, Mamuju - The ASAR Humanity Ksatria team distributed rice aid to the Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Nurul Muttaqin, located in Karema Village, Mamuju District, West Sulawesi. This act of kindness aimed to assist in meeting the basic needs of underprivileged students at the pesantren who are struggling to fulfill their daily necessities, on Tuesday (15/10).

The aid consisted of 11 sacks of rice, each weighing 5 kg. The donation was entrusted by donors who care about the survival of students who wish to learn but cannot afford to do so due to their underprivileged background. It is hoped that this donation will ease the burden on the pesantren in meeting the daily food needs of the students.

Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Nurul Muttaqin is known as a tahfidz pesantren for the underprivileged, where students come from low-income families. By focusing on Quranic education, the pesantren provides free knowledge to those aspiring to memorize the Quran but unable to afford the financial costs.

May what the donors have given become a continuous charity," said Ustadz Ismail, the administrator of Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Nurul Muttaqin.

Currently, ASAR Humanity is also working to gather further assistance to provide essential facilities such as sanitation (MCK) and kitchen supplies for the students.
